Speech Language & Learning Services offers a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for all ages from infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, teens, adults and seniors. Our goal is to provide our patients with a comprehensive approach to intervention and treatment services in a quality and caring environment.

Our lead practitioner, Mrs. Tara Boettcher is experienced in Kinesiology principles and application to neuromuscular, oral, and facial weakness. Mrs. Tara is certified in the Ampcare Effective Swallowing Protocol (ESP) using Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) to treat Swallowing and oral/facial disorders. This is the only FDA approved system and program which uses NMES for swallowing disorders. Mrs. Tara utilizes principles of Myofascial Release and its application to disorders when muscular function is an underlying cause or contributing factor. She is an Authorized Dealer for The Listening Program® from Advanced Brain Technologies. She is a distributor of Young Living Essential Oils and is resourceful and knowledgeable in identifying which oils may be helpful with the conditions our patients present. She enhances therapy sessions using the natural benefits of essential oils and aroma therapy.
